Mudpuppy is a wonderful line of children/teen products owned and operated by Galison.

 Galison was founded in 1979 to work with museums to make their imagery widely available in the form of well-designed and manufactured paper products. Mudpuppy Press was launched in 1992. Mudpuppy graciously offered MMR a nice 100 piece Monsters Puzzle Tin to review, and also one to give away!

My Boys were so excited when the puzzle arrived. Many of the products I have reviewed in the past have been baby related, so they felt very special to be a part of this review. My youngest Zak(age 6) is my puzzle building pro so he was the first to try this one out.  We sat down together and opened up the tin, Zak noticed the special tin, he like it very much and told me he was happy that he wouldn't rip the box trying to open the puzzle. (we have lots of busted puzzle boxes) I too appreciated the quality of the tin. Once he opened it I was surprised to see the pieces were twice the size of the other 100 piece puzzles we have, this puzzle is a very nice size, also very sturdy! Once Zak started building the puzzle he kept telling me how huge it was gonna be!

Mom, Dad, and Baby Review

Mom, Dad, and Baby kindly offered Hurley and I the chance to review two of their products, The Mommy Hook, and their bath time book. I reviewed the Hook and Hurley reviewed the Book!                           Mom, Dad, and Baby offers a few innovative products at retailers all over. "Mom, Dad, and Baby's mission is to create products that offer fun, safety, convenience, and value. The company is the brainchild of president and founder David Abels."

Hurley's Experience:

At first glance I knew the "Baby Bath Book" was going to be a fun addition to our bath time routine. My daughter was so excited to play with it that she carried it around the house all day until bath time!

Sometimes, while trying to bathe toddlers, it becomes a little difficult to get them clean when they want to climb all over the place. Having distractions is the easiest cure for that. Some bath toys hold interest more than others, but the Baby Bath Book holds a particular interest for my babe. She likes it best when she turns the pages and I read while I'm washing her off. As long as we have that book, we can make it through bath time a little easier.

I think she especially enjoys the book because of her love for stuffed animals. And every turn of the page results in more of them!

After using the book with bath time nearly everyday, the Baby Bath Book is still in excellent condition. Normally bath books tear easily or get a hole in the plastic creating a place for mold to grow. I know that this book with withstand many, many more bath times and possibly be passed down to our next baby.

Nikki's Experience:

When "The Mommy Hook" arrived I was first skeptical, not about the product, but about my ability to remember to use it! Being a busy mother of 4 I figured I would never remember to bring it along, then
I realized "Oh yeah its a hook", haha, I hooked it onto my purse/diaper bag and now I remember to bring it everywhere! I have used "The Mommy Hook" to keep my purse secured to the shopping cart or stroller. I also really enjoy it on grocery day since our condo is on the second floor. I can easily put 5 reusable shopping bags on the hook and haul them all at once while carrying the baby in her seat with my other arm. I really like using "The Mommy Hook" and get many compliments about it in the grocery store. I also use it to hang my purse up once I get home. I'm sure I will find many other uses for my Mommy Hook.

Baby Bond Nursing Cover Review.

I recently received a BabyBond nursing cover for review. To be honest, I was never that shy about nursing in public. I would just pop a boob out and go with it. I've always viewed breastfeeding as a beautiful thing. However, there are times in which it would be great to be discreet, like when your dad comes to visit, or your husbands guy friends! This is where the BabyBond nursing cover swoops in and saves the day! Here's what I received:

The first time I used my BB cover was at a party at my husband's friend's house. It was full of mixed company and I was unsure how everyone would react to me breastfeeding. Dream Makers Design, AIO Diaper Review and Giveaway-Closed

Dream Makers Design kindly offered MMR the opportunity to review one of their AIO(all in one) Diapers. She sent me a beautiful Black and White Damask printed diaper with hook & loop closure. When the diaper arrived the first thing I did was open it up to see the inside, doing so I noticed how strong her hook & loop is.

 Secondly I noticed how slim this diaper is compared to some AIO's I've seen. I then washed and prepped the diaper and tried it on my daughter "L". The fit is nice, L's legs may be a bit slender for the size we received but she also has very skinny legs.

 The rise and waist(waist on smallest setting) fit very nicely and the diaper stayed in place, it did not bunch up or loosen during wear. There was some slight wicking around the very inside of leg holes, to me that's just a sign that its time for a change. When I changed her her bottom was not wet, so in my opinion the diaper did a very good job keeping the moisture away from her tushy.  L seemed very comfortable in her Dream Makers Design AIO Diaper and she did not get any red marks from the diaper, as I said before it is super soft. After washing and wearing several times the diaper still looks great. The hook&loop has some very minor curling on just the very last unsewn bit of the edge. Other than that it is holding up beautifully.

I personally would love the opportunity to review her momma cloth in the future. She makes very stylish shopping cart, carseat, & nursing covers, from the looks of things on her site she has a wonderful sewing talent. Like she says, "If it is made out of fabric, I can make it." About Party In My Pants:
Party In My Pants [PIMP] is owned and operated by two sisters, Luci and Lydia Daum. Luci is the brains behind the design and Lydia is in charge of the marketing. Both women are obviously great at multitasking. Luci also makes hats using the name Alley Cat Hat Co. on Etsy and Lydia has her own website showcasing her printmaking and design. These sisters make up the company known as PIMP and have been creating wonderful cloth creations for over 10 years!

My Experience:
I have been cloth pad curious for a while now. Ever since my family began cloth diapering and saving so much money/reducing so much waste, I wondered if cloth pads were an option for me instead of using disposable pads. Disposable menstruation products have been around so long that people rarely consider an alternative. If you were to actually think about it, would it make you sick to think of how much you contribute to landfills? You can easily cut out many things you use on a day to day from your garbage. Switching from paper towels to non-paper towels is one, converting your family to only using glass water bottles is another, but the older girls and women in the family can make a contribution and switch to cloth pads.

When I received my Luxe Liner from PIMP, I was ecstatic. I washed it and wore it immediately. I have to say, I was an instant convert. It's nice not having to feel the papery-plastic like disposable liners. The liners are made up of 2 layers of fabric, the flannel type I received was 100% cotton for both layers. It felt like nothing was there while wearing them! I also liked that there was no issue about the liner moving around. The snaps on the wings made it easy to wear.

 Who doesn't love surprises? When I opened the package from PIMP I was expecting only the Luxe Liner I had ordered, but the girls at PIMP are more awesome than that. They included a mini pamphlet telling you about the liner, how it is used, how it washed and how absorbent it is. They also threw in a sample of dark chocolate. [Which is brilliant because everyone knows chocolate is a girl's best friend!]

Now, as far as how they hold up goes, I have used my liner several times since I received it and I just throw it in the wash with my daughter's cloth diaper laundry that I do every other day. I don't machine dry any of my diaper/ mama cloth laundry, it all hang dries in my apartment so as to not weaken the materials. The liner has taken the abuse well. It still looks brand new, I expect to get a lot of time out this liner!

So, if you are cloth curious, I recommend you try some cloth pads! PIMP has a tab at the bottom of their website for cloth curious women to try a liner for FREE! You just pay the shipping.

About their company:

Smart Mom Jewelry was launched by two stay at home moms, Kendra and Amy, in 2002. Motivated by the idea of "teethable jewelry" they started Smart Mom and it grew to produce teething necklaces, bangles and even baby-friendly ties for dads! One aspect about this company that is truely rare is that it is entirely staffed by moms. The company is one of the few places that is considered 'family-friendly', they allow their team members to work around their families schedules, even if that means bringing their babies to work. If you were to call them you may hear a baby in the background!

I think it's nice that if I was to have an issue or question, the person to answer the phone would be a mother like me. They would probably understand my concerns better than an outsourced call center like other companies use.

Hurley's Experience:

As a mother to a 10 month old teething daughter, it was a relief when my samples of Teething Bling arrived. I noticed I that I was only actually wearing the bangles for a few minutes before my daughter A. was gnawing on them. A. loved them from the beginning. She actually likes to drag the bangles and necklaces around the house with her. Make sure to supervise your babies with the teething jewelry. They come made with a break away clasp, but of course, you can never be too careful.

When I was researching the Teething Bling before they arrived, I was actually under the assumption the pendant and bangles would have a different texture. I suppose I imagined they would be more of a hard plastic. I was concerned that the bangles may be difficult to get on and off if I couldn't manipulate the plastic around my hand. Upon opening the package I was pleasantly surprised. The bangles are easily manipulative. and yet strong.

Annaliese, like many older babies, has a couple teeth that are sharp as knives. The pendant and bangles have held up to her abuse. I still can not find a single tooth mark on either. I'm glad I can expect them to last a while. Not only are they practical for my baby to chew and pull on, but they are fashionable too! I wear mine with everything!

Nikki's Experience:
Soon after Hurley received her Teething Bling she began telling me how much she LOVED it! She was kind enough to send me some of hers to let Lilliana use. Lilliana is 4 months old and constantly chewing on her hands, clothes, blankets, Everything! I was excited to try Teething Bling with "L", she too figured out the Bangle immediately. I like to keep it on me especially when I am out and about, if she gets sick of her car seat, or her pacifier I give her the Bangle it always seems to pacify her for a while longer. She isn't a pro at holding on to things yet but she has an easier time with the bangle than the Pendant Necklace. She Likes both though. In fact she is chewing on the necklace right now while I type with one hand :). I know that Teething Bling will be my "must have" once Lilliana gets closer to and starts cutting teeth. As much as she chews on things now I'm sure we will have an interesting teething experience.
